Silent Gaze

Locking eyes with a great gray owl, a creature both elusive and striking, is an unforgettable and humbling experience. There’s something deeply moving about connecting with wildlife, especially during quiet, one-on-one encounters like this where time seems to stand still. In moments like these, I often find myself lowering my camera and simply watching, taking in every detail—the rise and fall of its breath, the intensity of its gaze, the stillness of the forest around us.
