Morning Surprise

The Alaskan brown bear is one of the largest land-based predators on the planet, and being in their presence is truly awe-inspiring. I captured this image of a cub on a beach in Katmai National Park while it was scavenging for food alongside its sibling and mother. Getting this close to a young bear, one of the most formidable predators in the world, was both thrilling and unforgettable - an experience I'll always cherish.
