Golden Serenity

There’s something deeply calming about spending time with a beautiful animal in an equally beautiful setting, and this encounter was no exception. On a crisp autumn morning, I watched a wood duck drake paddle gracefully across still water, the surface glowing with the golden reflections of surrounding fall foliage. The scene felt almost dreamlike. The drake’s beauty alone is captivating, but when paired with the warm, golden tones of autumn, the moment becomes something truly special. Having the chance to observe and photograph this scene in such vivid conditions was a peaceful and rewarding experience I won’t soon forget.
