Curiosity

In my experience, few wildlife encounters are as fun and exciting as spotting a pine marten. Every time I’ve come across one, it’s been completely unexpected—and there’s always a moment where the marten seems just as curious about me as I am about it. This encounter was especially memorable, not only because of the marten’s playful behavior, but also because I got to share it with a close friend. I captured this fun pose as it paused to watch me, seemingly as entertained by the moment as I was.
